On a cold, wintry day in early February, 2003, two O.S.U. alumni from the Oklahoma City area purchased a 1986 school bus. It was on this day that Wheeldog (Mark) and Ted (Richard) set in motion a plan that they hoped would bring attention and notoriety to Oklahoma State University and serve as a safe and fun source of transportation to O.S.U. events for their friends and fellow Cowboy supporters. After about 7 months of working after work and on weekends, the “COWBOY CRUISER” was finally finished. It made its inaugural trip to Stillwater on August 30th to cruise around town and watch the Cowboys game against Nebraska on television at Eskimo Joe’s and The Stables. Though Wheeldog and Ted have invested a lot of their time and money into the “COWBOY CRUISER”, we also had some help from others who either made monetary contributions or donated supplies or their own labor to help us in certain areas that we weren't quite able to do ourselves. We would now like to send out a great big “Thank You!!!” to our friends and Cowboy supporters who have helped make our dream a reality. Click on Acknowledgements to view our supporters.
